Lois Brabin Platt - Artistic Director

Lois sits at the helm of Gas Money, she’s an award winning director and writer who’s won ‘Best Female Film’ at IndieX Film Festival, the Las Vegas Movie Awards and the Independent Shorts Awards, as well as receiving an ‘Honoured Film Maker Award’ at One Reeler Shorts and an official selection at both Melbourne and Sydney’s ‘Lift Off’ Festival for her first short film, ‘EB & FLO.’

Her theatre directing work includes one woman show ‘LIFE’S A DRAG’ at Theatre Peckham which, after a successful run, transferred to The Brockley Jack Theatre in South London. ‘IN THE SHADOW OF HER MAJESTY’ was written and directed by Lois and performed at The McQeens Theatre, working alongside Collage Voices.

More recently Lois directed Actor and Artist Abigale Sakari in her sketch comedy short LACY2.0 produced by Fully Focused in collaboration with New Horizons Charity - bringing awareness to the amount of young people homeless in the UK.

Prior to completing her Acting MA at E15 Lois produced short beauty films for 4Music Lifestyle and she continues to curate the popular event ‘SHORTIES’ that uplifts and connect female film makers.

Nancy Brabin Platt

Nancy is an actor, writer and drag performer who trained at Mountview. She has most recently starred in a queer retelling of the 1990’s play ‘Never Swim Alone’ after completing a tour of ‘As You Like’ It with Northern Broadsides. Nancy is performing her one women show ‘Life’s a Drag’ at The Jack Theatre in London in November 2022.

Fifi Bechler

Fifi is a technical designer who started in the East London drag scene. Originally from France, studying performing arts and theatre , she quickly gave up due to the lack of inclusion for trans performers at the time.

She found her place again in the East London drag scene, first as a drag performer, but finally as a sound and light designer, always pushing the limits of theatrics in the small venues she works in.

Moving up in the scene, she has been the technical designer for Khandi Shop at the Pleasance Theatre, and lately Life’s a Drag at the Peckham Theatre and Brockley Jack Theatre, which includes a whole lot of technology as part of the set.

Ellie Campbell

Ellie is a highly skilled costume and set designer based in London. Graduating from Northumbria University with a fashion degree she turned to the Drag community to start up her creative career in theatre and film. She has since worked as a set and costume designer for multiple films, TV and theatre shows. Most recently set designing theatre show ‘Life’s a Drag’ and Art Directing films ‘Heroes and Villains’ and ‘Driving with Tim’.
